By Shawn Hutchinson

The department of geography will host the public seminar "What's New in the ESRI University Site License" by Joe Eckmann from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Sept. 14 in 132 Seaton Hall.

Eckmann is a regional sales representative from Environmental Systems Research Institute, or ESRI. The institute's university site-license program has been enhanced and new products have been added for instructional, research and administration uses.

This presentation will provide an overview of the GIS products available to Kansas State University faculty, staff and students. Included will be demonstrations of Community Analyst, ArcGIS Online and ESRI Maps for Microsoft Office.
