KSDB hosting mental health roundtable

Submitted by Lucas Peterson

K-State's student-run radio station, 91.9 KSDB, will host a roundtable discussion about mental health at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Guests will include Lt. Col. Gordon Lyons, director of the behavioral health department at Irwin Army Community Hospital; Kodee Walls from K-State Counseling Services; and Karen Smothers from Pawnee Mental Health.

Topics will include how this time of year affects our mental health and how we can stay mentally healthy, differences in the services each mental health provider offers, and other varied topics.

If you miss the live broadcast of the roundtable, visit ksdbfm.org or soundcloud.com/ksdbfm to hear an edited version.

Tune in and call 785-532-0919 with your questions or reach KSDB through social media, @KSDBFM, for a chance to have your questions answered during the roundtable. Please be aware that the guests cannot discuss any cases and cannot treat a caller on the show. This roundtable is not a counseling session.
