Scholarly travelers: Scholarships help take students all over the world for study abroad experiences

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

Studies won't be confined to the classroom this summer and fall, as Kansas State University students explore the globe.

The university's office of international programs has selected 86 students to receive scholarships for international study. The awards include the office's Global Education Initiative scholarships to 45 students, made possible by the Kansas State University Student Governing Association, as well as scholarships sponsored by private donors through the Kansas State University Foundation.

The study abroad experiences vary in length, from short-term faculty-led trips to programs lasting up to a year.
