Nontraditional student scholarships for women application deadline extended to April 21
The application deadline for the American Association of University Women Manhattan Branch scholarships for K-State nontraditional undergraduate or graduate women students for the 2017-2018 academic year has been extended to April 21.
Applicants must be returning to school after at least a three-year lapse in education and have at least two complete semesters of credit remaining before graduation. Applicants may have already entered or returned to college after this time lapse. Undergraduate applicants must be bachelor's degree candidates and plan to enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester. Graduate student applicants are required to enroll for a minimum of nine credit hours per semester or six credit hours per semester with a graduate assistantship.
For the 2017-2018 academic year, up to three incentive grants of $1,000 each are available. The application must be received by April 21. Applications are available on the American Association of University Women Manhattan Branch website or the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation website.
The Manhattan branch of the American Association of University Women was organized in 1920 and is one of the 1,000 branches nationwide. Today, the association has more than 170,000 members and is a premier organization for providing educational funding for women and girls. Kansas State University is one of 800 college and university partners across the nation.

Membership is open to anyone holding an associate, equivalent, or higher degree. E-student affiliation for all full-time K-State undergraduate students is free.
