The production of 'Unity (1918)' about the Spanish flu and Fort Riley closes the K-State theatre season

The K-State Theatre season closes with the dramatic play "Unity (1918)" by Kevin Kerr, which will be at 7:30 p.m. April 20-22 and April 27-29, and at 2:30 p.m. April 30 in the Mark A. Chapman Theatre, Nichols Hall.

In fall 1918, the Spanish flu ravages a war-weary world. Ground zero: Fort Riley. The illness progresses northerly to the town of Unity, filling the town with paranoia. When the disease descends upon the town despite the precautions, the citizens begin to turn on each other as they attempt to find a scapegoat for the crisis.

Tickets are $16 for the general public; $14 for seniors, military, faculty and staff; and $11 for students. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone at 785-236-8638 or one hour prior to showtime in the performance venue.

All tickets, regardless of purchase method, are free from convenience fees and sales tax is included.
