Kansas National Education Association-Student Program teacher panel meeting

By Megan Mellring and Savanna Roth

The Kansas National Education Association-Student Program's annual teacher panel will start at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, in 119 Bluemont Hall. Pizza and raffle prizes will be available. College of Education students may earn one professional development hour for attending.

This is a great opportunity to start networking with local educators. More than 20 local teachers, administrators and superintendents will be ready to answer questions and give advice about the education profession.

If you want to be a leader in the College of Education, the association is the perfect place to start. We will be hosting officer elections for the 2017-2018 school year. More information about how to apply will come soon.

To get all the benefits of association membership, including liability insurance while you are in the classroom, scholarship opportunities, professional development, networking and discounts, join today.
