Marlin Fitzwater, longtime US press secretary, gives Q-and-A

Submitted by Sarah McGreer Hoyt

Join K-State Libraries for a live Q-and-A with Marlin Fitzwater at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the Hemisphere Room on Hale Library's fifth floor.

Students, faculty and staff won't want to miss this opportunity to hear from the only press secretary in U.S. history appointed by two presidents, both Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.

Fitzwater, who graduated from K-State in 1965, recently donated his personal papers to the Richard L.D. and Marjorie J. Morse Department of Special Collections at K-State Libraries. An exhibit featuring selections from the collection will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through March 17, 2017.
