Safe Zone training offered Sept. 12

Submitted by Anna Waugh

Randy Myles of the K-State Police Department will facilitate a Safe Zone training from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 12 in 112 Leadership Studies Building. The training will take a proactive approach to building awareness about sexual violence.

The course will cover important topics ranging from victim blaming to bystander intervention. The course also teaches participants how to become advocates for victims and survivors of sexual violence and how to find available resources at K-State.
