Friday First-Gen Focus
This week's segment, our last of the semesterlong series, features faculty advice for first-generation students. Special thanks to Adriana Gonzalez, Kimmery Newsom, Chris Culbertson, Melody LeHew and Fred Hasler for this segment, and to the Teaching and Learning Center and Division of Communications and Marketing for all of the powerful K-State faculty videos.
As we wrap up this series, I also would like to acknowledge Kiley Moody, the founding coordinator of K-State's First Scholars Program, who has done so much to advance the cause of first-generation students at K-State. I would also like to welcome Rebeca Paz to the First Scholars team, and thank the Suder Foundation for its support and collaboration. Of course, this series would not have been possible without the College of Education's and Teaching and Learning Center's embrace of first-generation student issues. We thank them both.
