K-State Alumni Association to celebrate graduates at Multicultural Graduation Celebration
The K-State Alumni Association will honor multicultural students graduating in May, August and December 2016 at the Multicultural Graduation Celebration at 5 p.m. Friday, May 13, in the K-State Alumni Center's Ballroom.
The celebration will feature free food, drinks and prizes. Additionally, the K-State Alumni Association will present four students with the Multicultural Leadership Awards for their service and contributions to K-State.
The 2016 Multicultural Leadership Award recipients are Maya Tilmon, bachelor's in mass communication, Kansas City, Kansas; Justice Davis, bachelor's in marketing, Kansas City, Missouri; Muenfua Lewis, bachelor's in finance, Olathe; and D'Aonda Bush, bachelor's degrees in finance and modern language, Wichita.
The event is free for upcoming graduates and one guest each. Additional guests will be asked to pay a $5 cash cover at the door.
