Bannister selected as faculty for South African training institute
The housing and dining services department congratulates Stephanie Bannister, associate director for student living, for being selected as faculty for the Association of College and University Housing Officers, International South African Housing Training Institute.
According to the association, "The Roelf Visser South African Training Institute provides a thorough professional development experience for professionals working in university housing in South Africa. Participants meet and interact with other colleagues, establish mentor relationships with experts in the field, develop professional development plans, and gain skills and competencies needed to meet the current and future demands of the profession in South Africa."
Bannister will attend the institute in April 2016 in Pretoria, South Africa as one of four U.S. faculty to share knowledge she has gained over two decades in the student housing industry.
