Natural resources and environmental science secondary major students to present capstone research projects

Students in the natural resources and environmental sciences secondary major capstone course will present the findings from their semesterlong research projects from 9:40-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in 227 K-State Student Union.

Two projects will be discussed, including "Ecosystem Service Delivery by Urban Prairie Patches" and "Assessing the Value of Stream Temperature Data for Kings Creek, Kansas." Student work has been supervised this semester by faculty advisors Trisha Moore in biological and agricultural engineering and John Harrington Jr. in geography.

The presentations are open to the general public. Undergraduate students interested in natural resources, environmental science, and sustainability issues are especially encouraged to attend. The secondary major is supported by the Office of the Provost, College of Agriculture, College of Arts & Sciences, and biological and agricultural engineering department.
