Registration open for 2014 Conference on Higher Education Computing in Kansas conference, May 21-22, at Emporia State

The annual Conference on Higher Education Computing in Kansas is scheduled May 21-22 at Emporia State University. Registration is free for all who are interested in the intersection of information technology and higher education in Kansas. 

The conference agenda lists 18 presentations on a range of information technology topics, from social media, tools, security, networking, data management, and support services, to information technology leadership and administration. The keynote speaker is Anthony Schlinsog, chief information technology officer for the executive branch of the state of Kansas.

All higher education institutions in Kansas are encouraged to participate, including two-year, four-year, public, private, technical and community colleges. The conference is sponsored by the Regents Information Technology Council and is coordinated by the Information Technology and Services Advisory committee.
