Celebrate International Education Week this week

Submitted by Mary K. Pyle

Don't miss all the international action this week. Stop by the display cases in the K-State Student Union by Caribou Coffee and the Computer Store and fill out an entry card for Willie the Wildcat's Great Study Abroad Adventure and "Hey Dude, Where's my Stuff?" contest, attend the office of international programs International Fair over the lunch hour on Wednesday, then join us at the Brown Bag Lunch and International Coffee Hour Series this Friday, Nov. 15.

Contest: Willie the Wildcat just returned from a fascinating study abroad trip however, he just lost his suitcase loaded with exotic trinkets and souvenirs picked up along his journey. The combined displays will feature qo small K-State Powercat logos hidden on Willie's missing belongings. Help Willie find his souvenirs by accurately describing where you see the 10 Powercat logos. Five Powercats can be found in the large display case near the Computer Store and the additional five logos are in the cases between the food court and the coffee shop.

Write your answers and include your name and contact information, legibly, on the 3-inch by 5-inch contest entry cards in the snack shop. Submit your answer card to the Union Program Council office on the third floor of the Union. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Ten correct entry winners will be drawn and announced on Wednesday, Nov. 20. Prizes include K-State branded items and Cat's Cash cards. Only one entry per person may be submitted. Winners may pick up their prizes from the Union Program Council office.

This contest is sponsored by the office of international programs, Union Program Council, and the K-State chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America, or PRSSA. Contest runs until noon Wednesday, Nov. 20.
