Please join special guest author David Finkel, K-State Student Union staff and representatives from Follett Higher Education Group as the K-State Campus Store celebrates its partnership with Kansas State University at a reception and ribbon cutting at today at 2:30 p.m.

Finkel’s "The Good Soldiers" is a critically acclaimed account of the U.S. surge during the Iraq War and a New York Times Book of the Year. His current book, "Thank You for Your Service," is the subject of an on-campus lecture and will be available for purchase at the store.

Follett was awarded the contract to provide bookstore services to K-State and opened its doors as the K-State Campus Store on July 1.

"We are honored to be selected as your partner as the official on-campus provider for bookstore merchandise and services," said Roland "Joey" Caron, Follett vice president of sales and operations.

As the leading provider of bookstore services and the foremost supplier of used books in North America, Follett services 5 million students with more than 900 stores.

The winner of the grand prize of free textbooks for the spring semester will be drawn at 3 p.m.

Information about the K-State Campus Store, its products and services can be found online.
