Microsoft Office 2013 in university computing labs and K-State InfoCommons

Submitted by Betsy Edwards

The newest Microsoft Office suite, version 2013, was installed over the summer on all Windows computers in the university computing labs and K-State InfoCommons in Hale Library. The software suite is also on three Windows computers near the IT Help Desk at 214 Hale Library. These resources are available to all K-Staters.

The Microsoft Office 2013 suite in the labs and InfoCommons contains:

  • Access — database
  • Excel — spreadsheet
  • PowerPoint — presentation
  • Publisher — document publisher
  • Word — word processor

Need the older Office 2010 version?  K-Staters can find it on at least 11 Windows computers in the Media Development Center, 213 Hale Library. Office 2010 will remain available on those computers through the fall semester.

See the university computing labs and K-State InfoCommons website for more about lab locations, free printing, and a complete list of available software. Questions about the labs can be sent to the IT Help Desk, 214 Hale Library, helpdesk@k-state.edu, 785-532-7722.
