Graduate School orientation for all new graduate students

By Amanda Umscheid

All graduate students who have summer 2013 or fall 2013 as their first enrollment term in a graduate program should attend the Graduate School's orientation session for new graduate students on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Check-in starts at 8 a.m. in the K-State Student Union Ballroom.

This session provides information that is unique to graduate students. Even new graduate students who completed an undergraduate degree program at Kansas State University should attend the orientation session. Students must register for the orientation by completing the online registration form.

The Graduate School is also hosting a session on payroll and health insurance for all first-time GTAs, GRAs, and GAs, and a session on "Using Word to Write Your Electronic Thesis, Dissertation or Report." These sessions are scheduled for the afternoon on Aug. 21.

Additional information about the orientation sessions is available on the campus orientation website.
