Submitted by Cheryl May

K-State's Division of Human Resources was notified late Tuesday of a retirement incentive opportunity for classified KPERS members who are eligible to retire. Complete information concerning the State of Kansas 2011 Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program is available at the link below.  These documents include:

  1. A summary of the eligibility for, incentive options, retirement offer deadline and other information regarding the Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program.
  2. The General Release Agreement that must be signed by an employee who wishes to retire under the Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program.
  3. A list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) concerning the Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program.

These documents will also be available for inspection, review and download here: http://da.ks.gov/vrip/

Staff from KPERS will be presenting pre-retirement seminars for state employees over the course of the next several weeks. The dates, times and locations of these meetings will be posted on the website listed above as soon as they have been scheduled.
