Participate in the 2013-2014 Guide to Personal Success first-year mentoring program
Registration is open for K-State faculty, staff and graduate students who are interested in serving as guides, or mentors for the 2013-2014 Guide to Personal Success, or GPS, first-year mentoring program.
Guide to Personal Success is part of the K-State First Program and pairs campus professionals with first-year students for a one-on-one mentoring relationship. More than 1,400 students and 350 guides have been directly impacted since the program's inception at K-State in 2009. To learn more about the program's impact, please check out our 2013 GPS overview and program video.
GPS guides share their knowledge of resources and help students build their campus networks. The program asks that guides and mentees connect a minimum of three times per semester either on their own or at one of the optional events hosted monthly by the program.
Interested in getting involved?
Please complete the 2013-2014 guide registration survey. Submission of surveys by June 1 is encouraged.
New and returning guides and individuals considering the opportunity to participate in GPS are invited to attend one of the following optional brown bag lunch sessions to learn more about the program. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP.
