College of Business Administration professor named associate editor of accounting journal

By Olivia Blanco

Amy Hageman, assistant professor of accounting, has been named associate editor of Advances in Accounting Behavioral Research.

Hageman will assist the journal's editor in the review process of manuscripts. The journal publishes behavioral research in all areas of accounting, including auditing, taxation and information systems.

"Advances in Accounting Behavioral Research publishes high-quality behavioral research that extends to all areas of accounting, with a special focus on theoretical development. It is an honor to serve as an associate editor of this journal and a great opportunity to enhance the exposure of the College of Business Administration," Hageman said.

This is the first editorial appointment for Hageman. She has been published and has articles forthcoming in several journals, including the Journal of the American Taxation Association, The Journal of Business Ethics and The Journal of Accounting and Public Policy.
