Research pioneer giving invited lecture April 8

E.R. Orskov of the Macauley Land Use Research Institute and the Rowett Research Institute in Aberdeen, Scotland, will give the invited lecture "Feeding a Hungry World: The Past, Present and Future of Livestock Nutrition Around the Globe," at 2 p.m. Monday, April 8, in 123 Weber Hall. Orskov is a pioneer in the field of animal nutrition research and continues to provide scientific expertise to enhance efficiency of animal protein production in developing nations around the globe.

Orskov has received the Order of the British Empire and has been elected to the Royal Society of Edinburgh for his ground-breaking discoveries leading to improvement of efficiency of food production in developing nations across the globe.
