The K-State Student Union and Union Program Council, or UPC, are now accepting applications for both K-State Student Union ambassador and Union Program Council executive committee positions.

The Union ambassadors program provides student leaders with the opportunity
to become a liaison with prospective students, on-campus organizations and the Manhattan/K-State community as a whole to promote the Union and Union Program Council. Six ambassadors represent the Greek communities, residence halls, Jardine
and scholarship houses, the general campus community and the Manhattan community.

to assist with major campus recruitment events and be actively involved within their respective area of focus. Other responsibilities include office hours and outreach in their respective communities each week. All ambassadors must be a K-State student enrolled in six or more credit hours each semester, maintaining at 2.25 grade point average.

As K-State's premier event planning organization, Union Program Council is responsible for organizing events in the Union and around campus. Union Program Council executive committee members are required to attend all Union Program Council executive committee and co-chair meetings, maintain a 2.25 cumulative grade point average, fulfill five office hours per week and be enrolled in at least six credit hours at the university.
