The lead investigator for this research is Jianming Yu, associate professor of genetics and genomics. Other researchers in the project include Tesfaye Tesso, assistant professor, sorghum breeding and genetics, and Scott Staggenborg, professor of cropping systems, along with scientists from the University of Minnesota and USDA Agricultural Research Service.
