Digital Signage Open House scheduled Jan. 17

Submitted by Eric Dover

Information technology services will be hosting a Digital Signage Open House 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 17, in Hale Library's Hemisphere Room. It will demonstrate K-State's digital-sign software system available to K-State departments at no charge.

This also is an opportunity to meet with digital sign staff and have your questions answered as well as share ideas for digital signage on campus.

K-State's digital signage initiative started more than a year ago to provide a campuswide solution for digital signage needs. For information on how to start a digital sign project in your department, visit the Division of Communications and Marketing's digital signage page.

Digital sign hardware recommendations are provided by information technology services.

Several departments have already implemented the digital sign system, and the software has been used for signage for several events on campus. A gallery of some of the signs is available online. Join us on Jan. 17 to learn more about the digital signage initiative.
