Kansas 4-H hosts Discovery Days

By Sarah Keatley

The Kansas 4-H program will host the 89th annual Discovery Days event at Kansas State University from May 28-31, 2013. This event is a mini college experience for about 750 prospective K-State students. We are looking for volunteers to help teach classes on May 29 and May 30. Classes can be two hours in length or all day in length.

This year we will have an emphasis on higher education and career paths that youth can pursue. Many youth who have attended Discovery Days credit the classes that they attended at this event to lead them to the career paths that they have chosen.

To sign up to teach a class please visit http://tinyurl.com/cc3ot58 or contact Sarah Keatley at keatley@k-state.edu or by phone at 785-532-5800.
