Jaeger presents short course

John Jaeger, beef cattle scientist at the Agricultural Research Center–Hays, presented a two-day short course for Technology of Costa Rica and CORFOGA, Corporation of Cattlemen. The course involves using ultrasound to estimate body composition of beef cattle for selection of breeding stock, prediction of carcass composition at harvest, and measurement of responses to nutritional treatments.
