Agriculture faculty and colleagues publish in PLoS One
Entomologist Kun Yan Zhu is part of a research team whose article, "Comparative Genomic Analysis of Chitinase and Chitinase-Like Genes in the African Malaria Mosquito," was published in PLoS One, an online science journal with an impact factor of 4.35. Other authors include: Yasuyuki Arakane, former research assistant professor of biochemistry; Karl Kramer, adjunct professor emeritus of biochemistry; Subbarat Muthukrishnan, distinguished professor of biochemistry; Jianzhen Zhang, former visiting scientist of entomology; and Xin Zhang, research associate in biology.
