Distinguished Service Award honors Totten
Iris Totten, former associate professor of geology, received the Distinguished Service Award posthumously from the Geoscience Education Division of Geological Society of America. The group is also establishing a memorial scholarship within the division in Totten's name. The award citationist was Dean Moosavi, past president of the division, and Matthew Totten, associate professor and Iris's husband, accepted the award in her honor.
