Northeast campus sidewalks to have interrupted access Monday and Tuesday

Service to be interrupted: Sidewalk access for short durations.
Buildings involved: Campus Creek Complex, Chem/Biochem, Dickens and Bluemont
Interruption date: Oct. 24 and 25
Interruption days: Monday and Tuesday
Time: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What does this affect: Portions of the sidewalks will be closed to shave concrete where sidewalks have offsets that are trip hazards. 52 cuts will be made in these areas, but only small portions should be shut down at one time. The entrances around Bluemont will be done very early morning on Tuesday for minimal interference with foot traffic.
Reason for interruption: To shave trip hazards on sidewalks.
