Low-grade systemic inflammation thesis project

Submitted by Tyler Wiegert

A graduate student in kinesiology is looking for volunteer male subjects ages 18-40 to participate in a thesis study looking at the effects of being physically active versus exercising on low-grade systemic inflammation and health-related fitness.

Looking for subjects in each of the following categories:

  1. Participate in structured exercise like sports teams, weightlifting, CrossFit, dancing classes, etc.
  2. Have not had structured exercise in last two months
  3. Do only light physical activity such as laundry, light walking, gardening, cooking, etc.
  4. Subjects who are physically active less than 30 minutes per week

Please email Tyler Wiegert at tnw@k-state.edu using "Inflammation study" in the subject box if interested, or call 785-249-8739.
