Support our littlest Wildcats through the K-State Center for Child Development Giving Tree Project

Submitted by Sarah McGreer Hoyt

The K-State Center for Child Development, or CCD, fills a vital role in our community by providing high-quality care for more than 150 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years. The center's classrooms have a constant need for educational supplies to serve their students.

The Giving Tree Project, sponsored by the CCD Parent Teacher Organization, erects multiple holiday trees in various campus buildings. Each tree features ornaments printed with educational toys, books or supplies teachers would like to incorporate in their classrooms.

If you'd like to give a gift to K-State's littlest Wildcats, simply visit a tree and select an ornament. Purchase the item listed on that ornament, and then drop both your gift and the ornament at the site indicated. Items vary in price, so anyone can make a contribution.

Trees can be found through Friday, Dec. 21, in the following locations:

  • 119 Justin Hall.
  • 1046 Rathbone Hall.
  • 1002 Seaton Hall.
  • 101 Trotter Hall.
  • The Center for Child Development.
  • The Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex.

In advance, thank you for supporting K-State's tiniest students.
