Health insurance open enrollment ends Oct. 31

Health insurance open enrollment ends Wednesday, Oct. 31, for coverage effective Jan. 1, 2019.
All benefits-eligible employees who currently have coverage must enroll in health coverage during this open enrollment period or they will be defaulted into Plan N with a Health Reimbursement Account for 2019 coverage. Employees who have waived coverage in 2018 will continue to have waived coverage in 2018.
The State Employee Health Plan continues to offer five different options for health insurance coverage, along with voluntary benefit plans through Metropolitan Life. Learn more about the 2019 health plan options and see instructions on how to enroll at the Human Capital Services open enrollment webpage.
Do not delay; the open enrollment period closes on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
