K-Staters can attend Kansas Supreme Court special session Sept. 24

Submitted by Olivia Haney

The Office of Pre-Law Advising invites the K-State and Manhattan communities to attend a special session of the Kansas Supreme Court on Sept. 24.

The session will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, in the Manhattan High School Rezac Auditorium.

The Kansas Supreme Court will hear two cases as a part of its ongoing outreach to familiarize Kansans with the high court, its work, and the overall role of the Kansas judiciary. This will mark the Supreme Court's first visit to Manhattan in the court's 157-year history.

After the session concludes, the justices will greet the public in an informal reception outside the auditorium. Be sure to arrive early to make it through security screenings. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Contact the Office of Pre-Law Advising for more information or with questions about the event.
