Vote today in the Kansas primary election
By Communications and Marketing
Polls are open today for voting in the Kansas primary election. Votes can be cast until 7 p.m. To find your polling place, visit https://myvoteinfo.voteks.org/.
State employees are entitled, by law, to be absent from work for a period of no more than two consecutive hours between the time of opening and closing of polls to vote. Supervisors may specify a particular time, but it cannot include their lunch hour. The full statute is available online.
If you have declared a party affiliation, you may vote in the primary. If you are unaffiliated you may declare yourself Republican or Democrat at your polling place. After Aug. 8 you may return your party affiliation to unaffiliated if you wish.
Be sure to bring one of these to the polls: driver's license, nondriver ID card, concealed carry handgun license, U.S. passport, government employee ID, U.S. military ID, Kansas college ID, government public assistance ID or Indian tribe ID.
