By Communications and Marketing

Did you know that Tuesday, Aug. 7, is the Kansas primary election?

If you have declared a party affiliation, you may vote in the primary. If you are unaffiliated you may declare yourself Republican or Democrat at your polling place. After Aug. 8 you may return your party affiliation to unaffiliated if you wish.

Riley County residents may vote in advance on the second floor of the Riley County Office Building, 110 Courthouse Plaza in Manhattan, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Friday, 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and Monday. Pottawatomie County residents may vote in advance at the Pottawatomie County Clerk’s Office, 207 N. First St. in Westmoreland. The office is open 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. today and Friday, and advance voting ends at noon Monday.

Voting on election day is 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find your polling place, visit https://myvoteinfo.voteks.org/
