Free two-week K-State CrossFit trial membership

Submitted by Travis Haug

The kinesiology department's LIFE Program and K-State CrossFit are offering faculty, staff, students and community members a free two-week trial membership to K-State CrossFit classes.

Join a coach-led structured, constantly varying exercise class with K-State CrossFit at 5:45 a.m., noon or 5:30 p.m. during the work week or at 9 a.m. on Saturdays. High-intensity CrossFit exercise training can be very effective for post-exercise energy consumption — i.e., burning fat — and our research studies have shown both significant improvements in body composition and weight maintenance. The LIFE Program and K-State CrossFit are conveniently located in the Natatorium/Ahearn Field House with shower facilities and lockers available.

To get your free two-week trial membership, stop by 8D Natatorium from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or the help desk in 4 Natatorium from 4-7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to fill out the informed consent and to pick up a punch card. Limited punch cards available.

If you have questions, please contact Travis Haug at haug0931@k-state.edu or call 785-532-6765.
