Submitted by Brent Fritzemeier

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals' Heartland Roundtable recently announced that three Kansas State University College of Business Administration students were selected as recipients of its 2018 scholarship awards.

The scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding academic performance and strong career interests in logistics and supply chain management.

Junior in management Kristin Russell has received both a $2,000 scholarship and travel stipend to attend the upcoming annual Global Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Conference Sept. 30-Oct. 3 in Nashville, Tennessee.

In addition to Russell's scholarship, two K-State Master of Business Administration students, Jessica Davis and Michael Claussen, also will receive a travel stipend to attend the conference.

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals is the preeminent worldwide professional association for the fields of logistics and supply chain management. The association's Heartland Roundtable represents the Kansas City region.
