Submitted by Savannah Rattanavong

The Asian American Student Union invites K-Staters to its upcoming events for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

A Muay Thai class and demonstration will be at 6 p.m. today in the K-State Student Union courtyard, hosted by the Asian American Student Union and the Muay Thai Club. Muay Thai, or Thai boxing, is a form of martial arts that involves the whole body for combat. Wear comfortable and flexible clothing.

Taste of Asia, a free food-sampling event and fundraiser for Cats' Cupboard, has been rescheduled for 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at the International Student Center on Mid-Campus Drive.

All events are free and open to the public. For any questions, please contact Savannah Rattanvong at srattana@k-state.edu.
