Huynh to serve as vice chair of UPCEA network

By Grant Guggisberg

Long Huynh, associate dean for enrollment management and marketing at K-State Global Campus, has been tapped to serve as vice chair of diversity and inclusion for the University Professional and Continuing Education Association's Community and Economic Engagement network for the 2018-19 term.

In this role, Huynh will provide leadership in diverse and inclusive content relevant to the network, including representing diverse perspectives, integrating diverse topics into webinars for the association, and cultivating UPCEA briefing content focused on serving diverse students and minority-serving schools.

The core mission of UPCEA's Community and Economic Engagement network is to support members in promoting new and innovative internal and external collaborations to help advance local and regional communities and economies and extend the reach of campus communities.

Global Campus is an active member of UPCEA at both the regional and national level, frequently utilizing the association’s resources to better serve distance students at K-State.
