Housing and Dining Services supports survivors through letter writing campaign

By Mary C. White

Housing and Dining Services is pairing with the Center for Advocacy, Response and Education to raise awareness for the #SurvivorLoveLetterCampaign in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The campaign will take place on Instagram and Facebook from April 16-20.

Each on-campus living community will host a letter writing event during the week. Kramer Community will meet at 8 p.m. Monday, April 16, in the Tallgrass Room; Derby and Strong communities at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, in Derby 134; and Jardine Apartments at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in the Frith Community Center.

To participate, follow the CARE office on Instagram @kstatecareoffice or on Facebook at K-State Center for Advocacy Response and Education. You also can post pictures on social media using the hashtags #SurvivorLoveLetterCampaign and #SAAM2018, tag CARE in pictures and encourage followers to like and share.

Join the conversation by supporting survivors during these community events.
