Do you love games? Are you looking for new ways to engage and challenge your students? Come join us in our intensive, hands-on, instructional game design workshop. We will be playing, deconstructing, building, and critiquing games as we explore some of the processes and tools used in game design.
Be prepared to participate in learning creative and innovative ways to approach teaching, even if you don’t plan to use games in your classroom. Game-based learning holds great promise for higher education to make learning both more engaging and motivating for students. Come join the fun!
The workshop will be led by Ben Ward, an instructional designer in the Information Technology Assistance Center with more than 15 years of experience in game design and gaming.
