Graduate School selects seven Graduate Student Ambassadors

Submitted by Kelsey Peterson

The Graduate School has selected seven graduate students to serve as Graduate Student Ambassadors for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Ambassadors are a diverse and supportive group of students who provide campus tours and help answer questions from prospective students on what makes the K-State community so great. They are active on Graduate School's social media, sharing their experiences as graduate students.

Ambassadors come from a variety of academic backgrounds and disciplines, from large cities and small towns all around the world, each with a unique perspective.

The 2018-2019 Graduate Student Ambassadors include Jessie Gardiner, applied family science; Emily Koochel, applied family science; Haripriya Naidu, civil engineering; Mian M. Farrukh Raza, economics; Spencer Smith, grain science; Lori Thomas, animal science; and Tanya Wineland, academic advising.
