Kansas State University in Italy summer 2019 call for course proposals

The Office of International Programs, Education Abroad is now accepting course proposals for Kansas State University in Italy summer 2019 programs.

Due to increased student and faculty interest, Kansas State University in Italy has expanded its programmatic offerings to include the following study and teaching options for summer 2019:

Summer interdisciplinary program

  • A four-week program that runs from mid-May to mid-June.
  • Instructors each teach one three-credit course alongside other K-State colleagues.
  • Student participants will enroll in two three-credit courses for six credit hours total.
  • Course activities are integrated into the program calendar, which includes weekend excursions to Rome and Florence.
  • Education Abroad and the K-State in Italy program director help organize all student support services and activities. 
  • Courses should have no prerequisites and the academic content should be open and relevant to most K-State majors. 

Summer single course program

  • Length and dates to be proposed by the faculty member.
  • Course to be proposed by the faculty member.
  • Course activities to be proposed by the faculty member.
  • Education Abroad and the K-State in Italy program director help organize all student support services and activities.

Completed proposals should be submitted to Joe Milostan, director of Education Abroad, at milosta1@k-state.edu by May 1.
