Library databases upgrade
Some of K-State Libraries' most popular databases for students and faculty are getting new looks this summer as the publisher makes platform upgrades. The changes, both cosmetic and functional, affect all databases currently on the ProQuest platform and some other databases moving to the platform.
All databases will receive the new interface over the course of Monday and Tuesday, June 25 and 26. Users doing research those days will not see any service interruption.
K-State faculty and staff who link to any of the affected databases from K-State Online or personal and departmental websites will need to update links before Friday, June 29. After that date, old links will no longer be functional. The K-State Libraries have complied a complete list of all affected databases with the new links to use. The new interface is functional now; faculty do not need to wait to see the interface change next week to update links on K-State Online or elsewhere.
The ProQuest database package includes the ProQuest Research Library, AGRICOLA, ERIC and the MLA International Bibliography, along with approximately 30 other databases.
