Automated external defibrillator locations now on LiveSafe app

Submitted by Michael Bear

The Safety Map in the LiveSafe app now displays the location of automated external defibrillators, or AEDs, on campus to allow responders and the public to locate these devices more quickly in the event of a cardiac emergency.

Note: You may need to restart your phone to refresh the app.

The LiveSafe app also allows direct and discrete communication with the K-State Police via text, picture, video and audio. The SafeWalk feature also lets you virtually walk your friends and family home.

If you don't currently have LiveSafe, it's free for download for Apple and Android devices.

Is there a resource you think should be included on the LiveSafe Safety Map? Send your suggestions to the K-State emergency management coordinator at kstateem@k-state.edu
