Reminder about vacation leave accrual in December's third paycheck

Submitted by Human Capital Services

For pay period ending Dec. 16, employees who currently accrue eight hours of vacation leave per pay period will not accrue vacation leave with the Dec. 29 paycheck. This is the third paycheck in the month of December and is one of the pay periods with no vacation leave earnings.

Full-time employees earn vacation leave 22 pay periods out of the 26 pay periods — or 176 hours — each fiscal each year.

During fiscal year 2018, employees will not accrue vacation leave on the June 1, June 15 and June 29 paychecks.
