Psychology faculty, students publish and present

The department of psychology has been active recently with an assortment of presentations and publications.

  • Clive Fullagar, professor, and Kyle van Ittersum, graduate student, presented a paper at the Association for Psychological Science's 24th annual convention in Chicago in May. The duo's paper was "Psychological Capital and Flow."
  • Laura Brannon, professor; Megan Miller, graduate student; and Neena Gopalan, 2011 doctoral graduate, presented a poster at the Association for Psychological Science's 24th annual convention in Chicago in May. The poster was "Tailoring to attachment style to encourage support for family caregivers."
  • Brannon and Stephen Nettelhorst, graduate student, also presented a poster at the Association for Psychological Science's 24th annual convention in Chicago in May. The poster was "Examining the impact of consumer feedback on internet product evaluation." 
  • Satoris Culbertson, associate professor, and colleagues from the University of Minnesota and Bradley University, had an article published in the most recent issue of Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice. The trio's article is "The engine is important, but the driver is essential: The case for executive functioning."
