The B-52s bringing party music to McCain Performance Series

Submitted by Maddie Salerno

The "World's Greatest Party Band," the B-52s, are coming to Kansas State University at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29. This show is part of the 2017 McCain Performance Series in McCain Auditorium.

Nearly 40 years and more than 20 million albums into their careers, the B-52s remain one of rock music's most beloved bands with songs like "Rock Lobster," "Dance This Mess Around" and "Private Idaho," chart-topping hits like "Love Shack," "Roam" and "Deadbeat Club," and their reemergence on the pop scene with their 2008 CD "Funplex."

Tickets for the B-52s are available at the McCain Auditorium box office, online at k-state.edu/mccain, or by calling 785-532-6428. All Kansas State University students and kids 18 and under are half-price. Other discounts are available for seniors, military, university faculty and staff, and for groups of 10 or more.
