Confucius Institute offers Chinese language classes in fall semester
The K-State Confucius Institute is offering a number of practical and fun Mandarin Chinese language classes in the fall semester for children and adults. Both beginners and experienced learners are welcome. The institute also has parent and child classes in which one or both parents and their children can learn the language together.
Classes are open to anyone at K-State and local community members interested in learning the Chinese language. Students will be placed in different levels based on their Chinese language proficiency.
The noncredit classes complement the Chinese language classes offered by K-State's modern languages department. Different levels of classes are planned for both children and adults by native and professional Chinese teachers.
The classes frequency will be determined by the students and the teachers according to their time, motivation, basic knowledge, etc. The fee for each course is $120 per session — 12 hours.
