Staying in the Manhattan area for summer? Join the noontime yoga group

Submitted by Crystal Strauss

Noontime Yoga Summer 2017

Noontime yoga is a free volunteer-based program that provides an outlet for students, staff, faculty and community members to practice yoga together in a friendly, noncompetitive environment.

The group meets from 12:05-12:50 p.m. Monday through Friday in 301 Ahearn Field House — enter through the north side of the building and take the stairs all the way up to the third floor.

Bring a mat if you have one; loaner mats are available. Wear comfortable clothing.

Yoga classes are for all levels and abilities. You are encouraged to listen to your body and modify poses as necessary. Noontime yoga leaders are volunteers from K-State and the Manhattan community.

There are no requirements to attend. Just show up when you can, even if you have to be a little late or need to leave a little early. Please enter/exit quietly so you don't disturb the rest of the class.

Sign up for the group email list and receive information about cancellations and upcoming events, or join the K-State Noontime Yoga Facebook group. If you have any questions, email Crystal at strauss@k-state.edu
